A 72-year-old man was rescued after surviving for 13 days in a partially collapsed building in Ecuador. Manuel Vasquez survived a huge 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Ecuador on April 16 only to be trapped between walls without food. Vasquez has been hospitalized and is being treated for chronic renal failure, dehydration and problems with his urinary tract. Ecuador suffered from more than 700 aftershocks since the original quake, with nearly 7,000 buildings destroyed and more than 650 people killed. Nik Zecevic and Melvin Robert discuss the miraculous rescue further on the Lip News.
